Dietsmann Smart Robotics Labs (DSRL) will be represented at the SPRINT Robotics World Conference of Inspection and Maintenance Robotics that will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on 22 & 23 of October. Dietsmann is proud to be sponsor of this significant Robotic Technology event. It is organized by the SPRINT Robotics collaborative (https://www.sprintrobotics.org), of which Dietsmann is one of the first members.

This year’s edition of the World Conference covers a broad scope of market sectors, ranging from petrochemical and energy to public and water infrastructure, aerospace, subsea and next generation technologies.

The two-day program includes over 60 international speakers, networking opportunities, an evening banquet, panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing and demonstrating robotic solutions from more than 50 service and technology providers from the industrial inspection, maintenance and cleaning domain.

As part of the Conference, a special session will be dedicated on the Wednesday to focus on status and expectations of Ground or Remote Operator Robots, which will be hosted by Dietsmann.

As part of the exhibition, together with its strategic partner, Taurob, Dietsmann Smart Robotics Lab will have a stand displaying the latest robot types. One of the highlights shown will be the ‘real-time’ remote operation of a TAUROB robot in Vienna, from the Rotterdam event location, via an easy-to-use Human Machine Interface (HMI), an exclusive development by Taurob.

In addition, via Virtual Reality glasses, visitors will be able to see a robot moving through a 3D-model of an installation. By being pro-active in investing, developing and testing these new technologies, Dietsmann is realizing it’s ambitions for ‘The Maintenance of Tomorrow’.

Representatives from all major oil companies will attend the Conference and Exhibition, as well as many robot technology developers and service suppliers. The World Conference of Inspection and Maintenance Robotics is open for all external visitors, please consult the website for detailed program and the list of (over 50) exhibitors (https://www.sprintrobotics.org/conference/).
