Our smart robotics lab

The Dietsmann Smart Robotics Lab aims to develop, deliver and exploit remotely-operated and autonomous robot-related robots through partnerships with, or investments in, companies, service suppliers, technologies and applications for the operation, inspection and maintenance of (heavy) industrial continuous production facilities.

By deploying robots, together we can

Take men out of harm’s way & ensure the highest standards of HSEQ
Round the clock inspection and data collection
Have robotics applications performing round the clock
Reduce emissions to the environment

Development in parnership with Taurob and IOC’s

The Dietsmann Smart Robotics Lab (DSRL) as shareholder and development partner with Taurob Robotics GmbH jointly with IOC’s are developing and testing the use of the ATEX-certified intelligent robot with an intuitive control system and multipurpose interfaces for quick and easy add-on integration on installations that Dietsmann maintains.

That is seen as the near future replacement of human inspection and maintenance missions especially in remote and hazardous energy production locations. We aim to validate the robot for operational field use in the next 18-24 months.

What is Taurob?

Taurob has developed one of the first ATEX-certified intelligent robots with an intuitive control system and multipurpose interfaces for quick and easy add-on integration. for hazardous missions.
